Youth Company     Las Vegas Ballet Youth Company   Las Vegas Ballet Youth Company is created to offer the committed pre-professional ballet students an opportunity to improve their dance skills, gain additional training and experience, develop an extensive knowledge of the classical and contemporary repertoire, and polish their performance ability. Company members will have the opportunity to perform solos and bodies of work in the annual Spring Concert as well as Giselle ActⅡ in October, The Nutcracker in December. Company members may also be called upon to perform in various community events.
Youth Company Requirements: * Only Academy enrolled students may audition for the company at the beginning of the season. * Youth Company will hold auditions on Sept 4, 2010 for the 2010-2011 season which extends from September through May. * Youth Company Members of the Youth Company will work, train and rehearse on Saturday’s – all members must be in attendance on Saturday’s. * Youth Company one time fee of $250 is due upon acceptance in September. * Casting is at the discretion of the Artistic Director, Ballet Master, Academy Director and Faculty. * Any academy classes missed due to Youth Company rehearsals and/or performances will not be credited or refunded. NO EXCEPTIONS. * More than 3 excused absences may result in casting forfeiture and potential company dismissal.   Youth Company Fees                   * Youth Company: one-time fee of $250. This is due upon acceptance in September. * Youth Company dancers are required to pay a $50 costume maintenance fee.                            Youth Company Audition                   Where: Kwak Ballet Academy When: Saturday, September 10th, 2011 Time: 12:00pm – 1:30pm
